Secret Gardens of Tasha Tudor and Family Tours
Meet the family and join us for this rare opportunity; a walking tour of the Tudor Family property. We are pleased to introduce a few new features on the tour this year including a marionette demonstration given by Marjorie in her marionette theatre. You'll also enjoy Marjorie's garden, Seth Tudor's outdoor woodworking area, and then the tour will take a quiet turn through the maintained portion of Tasha Tudor's garden with distant views of her beloved home. Tour of Tasha's garden includes the pond, vegetable and herb garden. Enjoy the beauty and peace of the Tudor property as your senses drink in the nurturing environment. Thank you for your inquires and interest, but Tasha’s home is not open to the public and is not part of the tour. As you might imagine tickets are very limited.
The Secret Gardens of Tasha Tudor and Family tour involves 30 to 45 minutes of walking over gravel driveways and the family paths through the woods. This is not a walk for the faint of heart! You must be physically fit and be able to navigate uneven ground in the gardens and uneven ground with roots and rocks through the woods. You are advised to wear comfortable shoes (please, no high heels.)
At the end of the tour, light refreshments made from Tasha Tudor's Cookbook will be served and the Rookery Gift Shop featuring books, prints, cards, tea, videos, furniture, rare books and much more, will be open. The afternoon tours will begin at 2:30pm and finish at 5:30pm. Rain, shine or extreme heat, the event will go on as scheduled. Restrooms available before, halfway through and after tour.
Due to the private nature of the Tudor Family, cameras will not be allowed on the tour. However, we will take a group photo in Tasha's garden and mail copies a few weeks after the tour. You are welcome to take photographs at the Rookery.

Tickets go on sale Tuesday, March 23rd at 10am, Eastern time. Please call 802-257-4444 to make your reservation. Please be advised that voice mails and e-mails will not hold you a spot.
Cancellation Policy: Any cancellations made sixty days prior to tour date will be refunded minus a processing fee of $25. Any cancellations within sixty days of the tours will be refunded minus the processing fee if that ticket is resold. We reserve the right to cancel tours due to unforeseen circumstances and extreme forces of nature.
