Our Wonderful Staff

She is also our rare book buyer, takes your phone orders, answers e-mails, processes orders, sews our aprons, guides our garden tours, tends our craft show booths is the author of our Rookery Ramblings Blog and so much more. We couldn't get by without her and we are lucky to have her with us. We hear from many of you that you agree! As if not busy enough, Natalie also received her Master's in Creative Writing from Dartmouth in 2010.
Jenna, artist and gardener, assisted Tasha Tudor in her garden from 2006 through Tasha's death in 2008. Not suprisingly (given her kind nature) Jenna devotedly saw to Tasha's happiness and was responsible for keeping Tasha's house filled with blooming plants and cut flowers. A woman of endless talents, Jenna frequently volunteers at the Tasha Tudor Museum teaching spinning and much, much more.
Christina joined Tasha Tudor and Family in September of 2007 and her smiling face quickly became irreplaceable. She initially helped in the garden and soon began packing our internet orders as well. Currently a stay-at-home Mother, Christina assembles our cards sets, writing paper and other products as her two young children allow. There are many photos of her oldest, Sophia, on our Rookery Ramblings Blog.
Artisans
Carl and Marcia, are a husband-wife team of artisans dedicated to keeping the centuries old art of tinsmithing alive. They personally handcraft each piece of tinware in their Ohio tinshop using tools and techniques in the tradition of 18th and 19th Century tinsmiths. The major focus of their work is providing accurate historical reproduction tinware to historic sites, major museums and historians across the country. The high standard they have set for themselves is evidenced by the many prestigious organizations choosing their work for its quailty and historical accuracy. Several major film companies have purchased their tinware for movie props, including Master and Commander; and all three of the Pirates of the Caribbean films. They have been selected by Early American Life magazine for it "Directory of Traditional American Crafts for the past 13 years. You'll enjoy the reproduction of Tasha Tudor's tin kitchen that they've crafted.
Margarita, a transplant to New Hampshire, has been sewing our Tasha Tudor pinafores since 2009. Early in her sewing career, she 'inherited' a custom clothing business from a friend and quickly learned the ins and outs of fine sewing. She took a break after the business grew too large, moved to New Hampshire and eventually launched a successful custom wedding dress business. She has a highly developed sense of historically accurate clothing and we are honored that she brings such integrity to our Tasha Tudor pinafores.
Ed, a proud father of two corgyn and several children, lives in Vermont with his wife. Ed makes our handmade copper cookie cutters and is constantly creating new projects with humor and zest. He recently built a covered bridge over the stream in order to drive to his home and shingled it with old sap bucket covers.
